This afternoon, Company 67 was alerted to the 2000 block of Swarr Run Road for an odor investigation. Engine 671 and Tower 67 staffed with seven was advised of an acid spill in the pool’s pump room. Haz-Mat was added to the assignment based on the additional information. Company 67 arrived and secured to the area and stood-by until the arrival of Haz-Mat. The crew from Haz-Mat did some air monitoring and obtained some samples and found no dangerous levels. Crews worked on the scene for close to two hour before clearing.
