This evening, Engine 672 staffed with four provided coverage to Manheim Township Fire-Rescue from 5pm to 7am. The members were running out of the Eden Station with Engine 422 (Gap) running out of the Neffsville Station. The members from MTFR were attending their banquet at the Lancaster County Convention Center. After 2300 hours, Engine 672 provided coverage to the entire township with only one call being received during the stand-by. At 0145 hours, Engine 672 (acting Engine 241) and Engine 643 (Lancaster City) were alerted to the 100 block of Rutledge Avenue for alarm bells with the units covering for the Southern Manheim Twp Station. Engine 672 arrived with normal condition and both crews investigated with the assignment being cleared out in 20 minutes. Early this morning, Engine 672 and Tanker/Foam Unit 27 (Neffsville) stood-by for an aircraft take off at the Lancaster Airport. The detail went off with no incident with units clearing within 30 minutes.
