Sunday brings a crash and oven fire
   Mountville Assignment
   Harrisburg Crash

This morning, Engine 671 was alerted to assist Company 211 (Southern Manheim Twp) with a crash with injuries in the 1400 block of Harrisburg Pike. Engine 671 staffed with four was advised of a single car crash with the occupant to be unconscious. Engine 671 arrived with EMS already packaging the patient with the crew from 67 assisting and checking on hazards. Rescue- Engine 211 arrived and stood by with the assignment being cleared out in 7 minutes. Just before dinner time; Companies 715 (Mountville), 76 (West Hempfield), 84 (Susquehanna #4), and 67 were alerted to the 100 block of East Main Street for a house on fire. Responding units were advised of an oven fire with the units from 715 arriving and confirming the fire was out. Command 715 had Tower 67 continue emergency and the remainder of the unit’s non-emergency, while crews checked for extension. Tower 67 assisted on the scene with ventilation and cleared scene in 20 minutes.
