This morning, Truck 67-R responded to assist Company 211 (Southern Manheim Twp) with a fire alarm in the 1300 block of Harrisburg Pike. Truck 67-R arrived with Engine 211-3 to find normal conditions, upon investigating found no reason for activation. Truck 67-R cleared, while Company 211 attempted to reset the system. Then at 1254 hours; units from Companies 67, 211, 68 (West Lancaster), 719 (Hempfield), 23 (East Petersburg), 24 (Eden), and 65 (Millersville) were alerted to Swarr Run Road for an apartment on fire. Engine 671, Truck 67-R, and Lt 671 with a total staffing of seven were advised of a stove on fire. The units from 67 arrived and found the fire to be out, downgrading the assignment to 67 for clean up and ventilation. The final run of the day came in during the evening for Engine 671 to assist Company 68 with a crash with injuries on Columbia Avenue. Engine 671 arrived and confirmed a minor accident holding the assignment to 67 until EMS arrived.
